Following a clarion call by parents and other community stakeholders in the Suzan’s bay, a seaside slum community in Freetown, which had, more than half of its area completely burnt to the ground on May 4th 2021.
One of the most vibrant clearing and Forwarding agency, in Sierra Leone, through the wisdom of their CEO Chernor Bah (Chris Bah), went and donated school learning materials to over 150 primary school children affected by the fire.
The laudable gesture according to the Mr Bah “is in line with his vision to empower youths, help the less privileged – especially those living in vulnerable communities.” Such initiative is deliberately undertaken by them, “to add values to lives and contributing to the human capital development strides”.
The beneficiaries (kids) were very happy to receive the packages considering schools have just re-opened and they lack these essential learning materials. The donated items include books, pencils, plastic-files and other essential learning materials.
The parents and guardians in expressing thanks and sincere appreciation to the company for their timely generosity. Welcomed the gesture adding, “such companies that have the less privilege people at heart are highly appreciated, and we pray for POTTAL AND TABITAL LOGISTICS AND GENERAL SERVICES to succeed in their business operations”.
